ANOTHERSUNNYDAY settled off the early pace while racing two out from the rail entering the backstretch, launched her bid three wide entering the final turn, took command entering the lane and drew clear late to prove best. PENALTY TO RANGERS away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and closed from along the inside in the drive to hold the place. SHAMRA settled off the early pace while racing two wide into the backstretch, angled in to launch her bid from along the inside entering the final turn, steadied when put in tight quarters soon after entering the lane, and finished two wide to get up for a share. BAKZONE lagged well back early while racing two wide in the run down the backstretch, commenced her bid three wide entering the final turn, and closed willingly four wide in the drive. MISS ACCELERATE away well and stalked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and finished evenly three wide int he stretch drive. WALKINTHEWALK unhurried early while dropping back to trail, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and finished with late interest from along the rail in the drive. TEXAS LEGACY settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail, steadied sharply when put in tight quarters at the rail entering the final turn, and failed to make a serious late impact. VALERIE VALESKI broke sharply and tracked the pacesetter into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, chased the leader two wide through the final turn, but came up empty late. Following the running of this race there were two separate steward's inquiries into the running. One entering the final turn, the other in the stretch the final time. After review, there were two disqualifications. PENALTY TO RANGERS was disquallified from second and placed third for causing interference to SHAMRA in the lane. And SHAMRA was disquallified and placed seventh for causing inteference to TEXAS LEGACY entering the final turn, thus in turn moving PENALTY TO RANGERS back to second.
