ANOTHER MYSTERY raced off of the pace, was allowed to settle and find his stride, launched a bid at the half mile pole and made one run, gained ground and improved quickly, split horses in the stretch, edged over to the rail, had momentum and room to close up the rail, surprised the leader as they went by for the win. KATIE M'LADY vied for the lead, attended the pace, raced two wide, was in control into deep stretch, left room along the rail and and was exploited by a fast closing rival, could not defend the lead settling for second. HE'SPUREGOLD stalked the early speed, raced on the rail, saved ground, moved into the stretch in contention, was asked but struggled to make head way, but was able to hold off the rest. EVAN HARLAN stalked from the four path, improved position at the half, challenged at the three eighths pole then finished flat. OTAGO was off mid pack, raced four wide through the first turn, shifted in into the two path down the back side, raced in between rivals ,launched a bid at the three eighths pole, improved, split horses leaving the turn, shifted out into the five path in the stretch, closed well. TUT'S REVENGE stalked the front runner while racing in the three path, improved position and challenged for the lead at the three eighths pole, moved into the stretch still battling then tired mid stretch.
