Chart notes
RESCUE THAT GIRL set a pressured pace, had the lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch fought gamely for the win. FINAL RUN FOR LOVE was in range and forced the pace on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch was no match for the winner. MAGICAL CHAMPAGNE was in touch, roused on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch held show. WAYLAID was hustled early, saved ground on the turn and finished evenly. FOREST FLASH settled off the pace and had a mild gain on the turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch leveled off. IRISH RAIDER was unhurried early, showed little and was never a threat. KOWBOYS SEQUEL was away alertly but chased on the turn and was empty. ABOUT A BOY was off the pace and showed nothing in a dull effort. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON KOWBOYS SEQUEL AGAINST RESCUE THAT GIRL FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
