Chart notes

SIGNATURE RING showed speed from the inside, had a slim lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch was kept to task. RIFLING was away alertly, hustled along on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch was up for place. LOADED SECRET stalked the early leader and forced the pace on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch was outfinished. ZAFEATHER was in touch and roused from the inside on the turn but needed more. DIXIE MORNING tracked the early leaders from the outside and was a factor on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch leveled off. STOLE THE RING was in range and raced evenly on the turn but from the eight path at the top of the stretch had no rally. EYE GOT IT GOOD was off slow and closed the gap on the turn but was never a threat. CASTLETON was off the pace, trailed the field on the turn and was not a factor. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START LEFT THE RESULTS AS POSTED.
