UNION BELLE saved ground, awaited room on the turn, slipped through into the stretch then rallied ahead in the late stages. PROBLEMS ABOUND raced close up three wide, led in midstretch and continued gamely to the finish. ROYAL UPSTART forced the pace outside and continued willingly to the finish. LOVE LIKE CRAZY chased outside and weakened steadily. THE GIRL'S NO JOKE hustled to a narrow advantage inside for half mile then came up empty. VICTORIOUSVICTORIA broke awkwardly, dropped back and trailed throughout.
