Chart notes
SOZE ducked in sharply at the start crowding rivals, engaged in a heated duel outside then drew away through the stretch. GRAHMALAMADINGDONG crowded at the start, raced far back then rallied strongly wide too late. TRY HARDER severely crowded at the start, raced wide and finished well. CHINESEIAM raced in closest pursuit of the dueling leaders and faded. STAY FUNNY vied along the inside to the stretch and gave way. CRACK THE CODE dropped far behind and was never a factor. WARRIOR'S WAY OUT was outrun along the inside and never involved. Following claims of foul by the second and third finishers against the winner for interference at the start, SOZE was disqualified and placed third as the stewards upheld the objection by the third finisher.
