Chart notes
PAXSATIONAL established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to prevail. DARK DEVIL chased three then two wide, tucked inside at the five-sixteenths placed to coaxing, took the inside route into upper stretch in behind the leader attempting to lean out and nudge GLINT three wide and was denied the move straightened away and again at the three-sixteenths, got clearance a furlong out and tipped to the two path, then offered up a mild kick to close some of the margin while settling for the place honors. GLINT chased four then three wide advancing under coaxing from the three-eighths, tucked to the two path when the aforementioned foe took to the rail, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was bumped in the hindquarters by that foe attempting to lean out, got leaned on once more at the three-sixteenths when DARK DEVIL attempted to tip out, then kept on to secure the show honors when unable to keep pace with the top pair through the final furlong. WAJDA got bumped at the start by HOULTON, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. HOULTON broke out at the start bumping WAJDA, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened. MISSOURI RIVER chased two to three wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, continued two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened. FIRST TRUMPET brushed the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive.
