Chart notes
CANDY QUEST tracked the pace along the inside, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was paused in behind the top pair, tipped out nearing the eighth pole to the three or four path roused, rallied to collar the leader a sixteenth from home and edged away to the finish. TAM I AM three wide in pursuit, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under threat and was caught with a sixteenth to go, ran on willingly for the place honors. PRETTY LIZA got bumped at the start by HAVE A HAPPY, who broke outwards, and in turn bumped MOONSCAPE, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch and kept on to secure the show honors. PIONUS chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. SO DARN PRETTY (IRE) coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand three then two wide, got roused taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, weakened to the finish. LADY GUNNER chased along the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered no response. MOONSCAPE got bumped at the start by PRETTY LIZA due to pressure from HAVE A HAPPY, chased three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and tired. NOT THE FIRST TIME chased two to three wide down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, came under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, angled out six wide into upper stretch and came up empty. CONTRACT LAW chased four to five wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch, made no impact. HAVE A HAPPY broke out at the start bumping PRETTY LIZA into MOONSCAPE, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside for home and tired. THUNDER PRINCESS broke out at the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside ridden along from the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide at the head of the stretch and made no impact.
