Chart notes
GRAY'S FABLE was allowed to settle early, saved ground around the far turn into the stretch, angled out near the eighth pole and finished well to surge up under strong handling. OCEAN CITY set his own uncontested pace, dug in late and gave way grudgingly. THERE ARE NO WORDS rated along to race in hand early, ridden two deep near the quarter pole and finished willingly to the wire. WOW WHATA SUMMER settled off the early pace, attempted to split two deep nearing the sixteenth pole, was blocked and finished willingly to the wire after the troubling stretch run. Trainer of Wow Whata Summer claimed objection against Ocean City and stewards ruled no change. HIGHESTDISTINCTION was bumped, forced out a bit to race four wide around the first turn, raced mid pack early, raced three wide near the quarter pole and was even with no closing run. NO ONE TO BLAME tracked the early leader two deep and faded. GIVE IT A WHIRL stalked the pace and failed to sustain a bid. TWO STEPPIN KLUKI raced in a bit tight, bumped with rival around the first turn, raced near the back down the backstretch and never menaced.
