BON BUENO saved ground on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn about the five path, drifted leaving the turn then dueled to clear second inside the sixteenth pole. CHICA CHUCK was shuffled back early and raced in the three path the first turn, left the turn toward the outside and picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the six path on the far turn, was forced wider into the lane and came along to take third mid-stretch. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the riders of both Big Smile and Burton Way for interference leaving the far turn, lodged by the rider of Bali's Shade, and as a result, disqualified Big Smile to seventh place for bearing out across the path of Bali's Shade leaving the turn.
