Chart notes
DEVIL D' ORO trailed the field to the turn then moved up from four wide through the turn and drove past the leader and sailed home to prove best. MISS JOSIE stalked the pace from three wide and engaged the leader at the quarter pole then matched strides outside of MISSIONARY MARY in the stretch and dug in late to win the place. MISSIONARY MARY sprinted away to prompt the pace then moved up to engage the leader near the quarter pole and matched strides inside of MISS JOSIE in the stretch but was outkicked in the final jumps. GAMBLERS NIGHTMARE showed good early speed but was headed at the quarter pole and weakened. BOLD BREAK raced near the back to the turn then made a mild bid around the turn and tipped out to four or five wide in upper stretch to make the late effort to improve position. CURLINMYMONEY was forwardly placed from four wide to the half mile marker then moved in to save ground around the turn but was not a factor. QUEENS HALO was forwardly placed while racing five wide on the backstretch then dropped back on the turn. PRAIRIE COMET tracked the leaders from the inside to the half mile marker and gave way.
