Chart notes
PARALLEL tracked the pace from the rail, swung four wide in upper stretch, kicked in, seized command near the sixteenth pole and drew clear under minimal urging. ROSE VIEW settled off the pace while racing two wide, launched a three wide bid around the far turn, took the lead near the quarter pole, vied to the sixteenth marker and was clearly second best late. GOSSIPER broke a bit awkwardly, raced in range two and three wide and ran on for the show. ROSCOE VILLAGE set a rated pace along the rail and weakened through the final furlong. PUCKERED saved ground off the pace and failed to menace. CLEOPATRA'S NILE was shut off at the start, raced off the pace three wide around the first turn, edged closer down the backstretch, bid two wide around the far turn, took the lead near the three-eighths pole, was collared near the quarter pole and gave way. PLEASESTOPTALKING prompted the pace two wide and faded through the stretch.
