Chart notes
BERNIN HOT set a clear pace, felt light pressure from an outer rival around the far turn, shook free of that one entering upper stretch and held firm from a wider bidder. OVERSTATEMENT pursued from midpack along the inside, rallied three wide turning for home, bid outside of the leader in the final furlong but was kept at bay. SEASON FIGHTER trailed along the inside, shifted out entering the backstretch, pursued in the five path around the far turn then ran on to reach show late. PARKWAY was washed out with a visible lathering of sweat moving to post, tracked four to three wide leaving the first turn, attempted a mild bid to press outside of the leader around the far turn, but yielded while getting outkicked entering the lane and lost show late. GATLINBURG pursued from midpack in the three path an between horses around the first turn, shifted out to the four path further back down the backstretch, chased around the far turn and tired. ASK ARTHUR stalked the clear leader from the two path, but faded along the inside around the far turn. FLYING HOUDINI eased back from subtly tight quarters between horses early on, laid off of the pace two wide, moved between horses approaching the five furlong pole, then gave way around the far turn. PER RULING ECM2024-317 FROM HIWU, OVERSTATEMENT WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
