MAY DAY READY bumped with an inner rival at the start, then got bothered by an inner foe and backed out between horses shortly after, got keen behind rivals early on before settling off of the pace in the two path around the first turn, advanced and brushed between rivals entering upper stretch, got floated four wide in midstretch, sustained a charge to bid outside of the leader with sixteenth to go, dueled as a wider bidder threatened late and narrowly prevailed between horses. TOTALLY JUSTIFIED bumped with an inner rival and shifted inwardly at the start, laid close up along the inside, stalked down the backstretch, smoothly tipped to bid two wide entering the lane, drew clear in midstretch, dug in to resist outer challenges in the late stages but got nailed at the wire and saved place. DESTINO D'ORO was bumped by an inner rival into an outer foe and clipped heels soon after the start, got keen behind foes early on, laid well back in the three path around the first turn, swung seven wide into the lane, rallied to bid outside of the top pair in the final sixteenth but missed at the wire. MECHAYA leaned into an outer rival and had her outer hind heel clipped by that one soon after the start, tracked two wide and between horses, then along the inside around the far turn, brushed three wide in upper stretch, chased between horses into the final furlong, was briefly taken in hand behind the leader shortly after then lacked a bid. ITALIAN SOIREE pursued from midpack four wide, then six wide in upper stretch and lacked the needed punch while hanging on her left lead. SHEZAFUNKYDRUMMER set the pace while remaining in the four path around the first turn, tucked to the two path into the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, but was headed by an outer bidder in upper stretch, gave way, bumped an inner foe at the sixteenth pole and faded. SASHAY AWAY tracked along the inside, then further back around the far turn, rallied up the rail through the lane, but was bumped and put in tight in the final furlong. BALLERINA D'ORO broke a step slow and bumped with an inner rival at teh start, trailed two wide, then between horses around the far turn, encountered mild traffic in the four path in upper stretch, shifted to the eight path in midstretch and stayed on. SOMETHINABOUTHER lacked speed along the inside under a snug hold around the first turn, trailed around the far turn, swung out before getting floated to the ten path in midstretch and ran on mildly. MISS LONELLE pursued three wide, chased in the five path and between horses in upper stretch and faded. GIVE LIFE stalked in the four to three path, pressed before taking the far turn in the two path, got floated three wide into the lane and faltered between horses. THE RIDER OF MECHAYA CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST TOTALLY JUSTIFIED ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
