Chart notes
SAXTON vied for the lad on the inside, then dueled for command off the turn with FIRE PIT, then edged clear in the furlong grounds to prove best under crop urging. FIRE PIT vied for the lead on the outside and then came three wide off the turn and dueling with the winner but could not go with that rival in the final furlong while keeping on to be clearly second best. LITTLE BIT RISKY was in tight and bumped slightly at the break, then got into stride and advanced three to four wide on the turn, came five wide off the bend and had a mild late rally to best the rest. STORMY FLIGHT broke in and brushed LITTLE BIT RISKY at the break, then tracked the vying leaders two wide, then chased two to three wide on the turn, moved to the inside off the turn and faded. WAR HUMOR was brushed at the break, chased the early pace on the inside, fell back on the turn, angled out in the lane and had a mild late gain. JUST FOR THE MONEY was reserved early, three wide on the turn, angled out in the lane and had a belated rally on the outside. VIRGINIA FITZ was outrun early, three wide into the lane and was not a factor. KISSLING vied for the lead in between rivals and stopped in the drive.
