Chart notes
PREPAREFORTAKEOFF , away alertly, was guided in a bit near the five eighths when accelerating outside rivals to take command, vied outside RED HAT HANNA then was clear entering the turn, rated kindly towards the inside past the three eighths, dug in when confronted by UNION SUIT near the quarter pole, thwarted that initial challenge and spurted clear under a drive past the three sixteenths, kept on tenaciously through the final seventy yards and narrowly denied UNION SUIT'S resurgence. UNION SUIT stumbled shortly after the break, steadied when in tight nearing the five eighths marker and bumped with T C NEIGH, moved out and made a three wide move to engage the winner near the quarter pole, could not quite go with that one soon into the lane, found more under a drive inside the sixteenth pole but had her final lunge just miss. SULTRY SALLY H was settled early, made a four wide move on the turn but flattened out, bested rest. T C NEIGH was bumped nearing the five eighths marker, chased the pace two wide and weakened. RED HAT HANNA was hard used on the inside and then attempted to switch out entering the turn, was boxed briefly, failed to kick on and faltered. Following an objection by the rider of UNION SUIT against the winner alleging interference near the five eighths pole, PREPAREFORTAKEOFF was disqualified from first and placed second.
