Chart notes
SERENE KATHLEEN set the pace on the inside, was pressed throughout, dueled on the far turn, responded when asked, shook free in upper stretch, dug in gamely and held well under urging in the two path. CLASSICALS FINALE was off a bit slow, raced two wide off the pace, chased on the far turn, went four wide past the quarter pole, closed well late outside and got up for second. HORSEPLAY pulled in the early stages on the inside, steadied entering the first turn, then tracked inside, waited for room while saving ground on the far turn, lacked a clear path in upper stretch, then finished evenly on the rail in the final sixteenth. LADY CATALINA raced off the pace inside, then two wide, chased on the far turn and rallied mildly in the two path in the final furlong. CENTEYA pressed the pace racing close up two wide, bid on the far turn, dueled with the winner and weakened in the stretch run. GIRL OF FAITH raced close up early outside rivals, went five wide entering the first turn, then stalked two wide, chased between rivals on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and weakened. WHEN IN ROMA raced off the pace with an inside trip and finished evenly on the rail. STAR VENEZUELAN was off slowly, raced off the pace inside and failed to threaten. FLORIDA FLOWER raced close up early, four wide into the clubhouse turn, stalked three wide, chased on the far turn and gave way. TRES ARIES was outrun.
