Chart notes
LIL' BIT BOSSY raced up close to the outside the pacesetter, challenged two wide on the turn, took over past the quarter pole, carried a short lead into the final furlong, cleared with a sixteenth remaining and held well to the line, then was unsaddled past the clubhouse turn on the way back to the winners' circle and transported off the track via equine ambulance. THIRSTY MAMA raced greenly in the chute then settled in a stalking position off the rail, chased two wide then between rivals on the turn, moved out in the lane, finished willingly to earn second but could not reach the winner. WE THE FREE grabbed the lead and showed the way up the backstretch, took pressure from the winner on the turn, relinquished the lead past the quarter pole, fought on to the midstretch, then lost touch with LIL' BIT BOSSY in the last sixteenth but managed to save third. PRINCESS DADDY broke inward then moved up into range from inside, tipped out in upper stretch and finished evenly late. LEGAL FICTION raced up close three deep, came under a ride still in three wide on the turn and weakened down the lane. THIRSTY IN VEGAS had early speed to be forwardly placed out wide, chased four deep through the bend, tired and eased in the final furlong and walked off.
