Chart notes
SAINT TEMPLAR had a good spot outside watching the lead duo in the first bend, moved closer to shadow the pacesetter outside along the backstretch, began to inch closer when coaxed for run midway on the far turn, took control between runners at the quarter pole and was kept to the task through the lane to hold safe, actually increasing the advantage at the wire for the win. SEATTLE STINGER broke in at the start, loped along near the back of the pack into the first turn, began to lengthen stride closing the gap down the backstretch outside of horses, made a strong move circling rivals four wide with three eighths remaining, loomed the only threat in the five path at the top of the lane but was no match for the winner who had something left for the stretch drive. SO CALLED VACATION tracked the pacesetter on the rail into the initial bend, was nudged on inside to maintain position down the backside, came under a ride but was going the wrong way saving ground around the final turn and showed some grit to re-rally inside to come back and capture the show money late. SOUPER ICONIC travelled in midfield with runners on both sides while under a tight rein, pulled the rider closer down the back straight, rallied two wide at the three furlong to be in range for a share in the four path turning for home and finished up one paced to settle on the fringes in the end. COPROLITE stalked near the back ahead of only the poor starter, made little progression along the backstretch and finished with interest between rivals late to be in the mix battling for a minor placing at the wire. LOOKHOWPRETTY assumed command at the start, set the pace with an even split along the backside, was collared outside nearing the quarter pole, offered little resistance on the fence and folded on the rail by the furlong marker. TRUE SHOT settled in mid-division three deep, could not quicken when between others at the three eighths marker losing position on the far turn and had nothing to offer in the stretch running. MOUNT HEALY hesitated at the break to trail in the early stages, was eased at the three furlong pole and walked off.
