Chart notes
ONE MORE BREW had a good spot tucked in on the fence behind the frontrunner, rated kindly waiting to move down the backstretch, moved in while skimming the fence at the top of the stretch to bid inside, kicked away on the rail when asked right-handed at the furlong pole and held safely for the win at the finish line while patiently handled. C MY MEISTER was allowed to settle at the rear going into the first turn, co-trailed on the inside at the half, started to mount a rally shifting out three wide at the quarter pole, angled out widest gathering speed seven wide turning for home, was closing in late but it wasn't enough to threaten the winner at the wire. SOULMATE travelled just on the outside in the second group around the first of two turns, maintained that position moving comfortably along the backside, took closer order around the final bend to be in the hunt four wide between foes in upper stretch, was outfinished by the top two runners in deep stretch but did finish up strongly to be a clear third at the wire. SAILOR'S PASSION travelled on the fence ahead of a couple on runners in the first turn, made no improvement on the rail down the backside, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane and had good late energy to get up just at the finish line for a minor reward. MAD DOG N JOE was away alertly for the lead into the first turn, slowed the pace down a touch down the backside still moving well up front, was collared on both sides at the top of the stretch, had little left to give and yielded at the furlong marker. TARANTO TITAN stalked in the third flight on the outside in the early stages, angled out six wide straightening out for the drive but failed to menace in the running to the finish line. LUCKMAN settled close to the back of the pack just on the outside in the beginning, co-trailed on the outside at the half, had no rally when asked on the far turn and managed to pass a tired rival in deep stretch. HANK OLLIE tracked the frontrunner on the outside in the first turn, moved a little closer to shadow the pacesetter outside down the backstretch, was roused at the quarter pole trying to keep pace between horses, angled out three wide at the top of the lane but could not continue on late and folded in the final furlong.
