GALLEY HEAD was part of the group tracking the leader while outside four deep down the back straight, closed in to prompt the pace outside midway around the bend, seized control outside with a quarter left to go, gave way grudgingly to the fast-closing winner in the final seventy yards but did say on smartly for the runners up share in the end. READY SHAKESPEARE travelled in midfield along the backside, improved inside of rivals on the turn, shifted out, bullying his way through in tight quarters five wide turning for home and did not switch leads to the wire but still finished up willingly to capture third money. MOON OVER EGBERT watched the frontrunner while going two wide between horses down the backside, edge closer when scrubbed on for more at the quarter pole, drifted out to the four path with three sixteenths from home, was quickly corrected in upper stretch, shifted inwards to be in the hunt with a sixteen remaining and finished up mildly for a minor placing. VALLEY VICTORY tracked the pacesetter three wide between foes early on, dropped back losing some positioning at the three eighths marker, moved closer to re-rally six wide in range up front at the top of the stretch but needed more late to threaten and evened out in the final sixteenth of a mile. ORPHAN HALLIE broke slow on the start to co-trail inside down the backstretch, saved ground seeing the field through the turn and while in the two path down the stretch passed some rivals in deep stretch. BUCK'S FIZZ was off a step slow to begin, stalked near the rear outside of rivals, made a brief rally five wide circling foes at the quarter pole, was pushed out to the eight-path turning for home and weakened in the final furlong. DESIGNATED HITTER was nestled on the rail keeping a close eye on the pacesetter down the backside, kept pace on the rail waiting for the cue around the bend, shifted out in the two-path for clear run in upper stretch but had no finish to give down the lane to the wire. TOURIST'S DREAM stalked inside in the second last group down the backside, was urged on the turn but could not keep pace with rivals that were commencing a rally, angled out six wide for the drive but failed to be a presence down the lane. VALYRIAN SKY was away quickly to clear to the rail for the lead at the five eighths pole, rolled along with a mild advantage around the turn, was collared outside by the quarter pole, had nothing left in the tank and stopped on the rail at the furlong marker.
