Chart notes
HELLO HELLO HELLO chased in the two path, was ridden into the far turn, angled out passing the quarter, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, kicked past the inner pacesetter passing the eighth pole, and went clear. SMILE PO showed the way in the two path, was coaxed along the inside into the far turn, tipped back out to the two path turning into the stretch, yielded to the winner passing the eighth pole, but held onto second. MISS MARY NELL tracked in the three path, was driven between foes around the far turn, swung out to the six path turning into the lane, and finished evenly for show. ROCIO steadied along the rail around the first turn, trailed out in the five path down the backstretch, was driven from there around the far turn, angled into the two path turning into the stretch, but did not factor. VALIANT KISS laid up close in the four path turning into the backstretch, was roused to bid from the three path passing the three-eighths mark, but faded from the four path down the lane. SOUPER ZONDA broke out at the start, stalked in the four path but weakened in the five path down the stretch.
