Chart notes
PINNACLE REEF settled inside on the first turn, bid nearing the quarter pole and took the lead in the three path entering the stretch, dueled clear past the eighth pole and widened the final sixteenth. RAISE A RUCKUS tapered in and stalked two deep the first turn, took over at the three eighths pole and dueled briefly clear off the rail midway on the far turn, but was met entering the stretch and flattened stride with a sixteenth to go. TIME TO CHOOSE raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase past the half mile pole and rounded the far turn about the four path, dueled for third mid-stretch and flattened the final sixteenth. CURB THAT TIGER saved ground racing well back, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and improved steadily, rounded the far turn off the rail then flattened in the lane. ON A WHIM saved ground on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole and raced off the rail on the far turn, but showed little in the lane. NEVERFOLD saved ground racing well off the pace and could only improve his position. PONTICELLO showed little response. DR RENDEZVOUS became edgy in the gate then rated a slim early lead toward the inside, was met at the three eighths pole and gave chase from that point, but dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn and was eased later yards.
