Chart notes
ONE TRUE SHANCE stalked the leading pair from the two path, took aim entering the lane in the five path, bid outside of the leaders at the three sixteenths pole, drove clear shortly after and held sway. J DAVID broke out and tossed his head at the start, tracked along the inside, chased the bidding eventual winner from the four to five path while hanging on his left lead in upper stretch, changed over gaining place at the furlong grounds, ran on in pursuit but was kept at bay. GALLO DE FUEGO broke a step slow and was last away, lacked speed in the two path, shifted three wide at the three furlong pole, drifted inwardly in upper stretch, attempted a rail charge but was put in tight quarters in the final furlong and forced to brush the rail passing the sixteenth pole. COLONEL YORKE vied along the inside, got outkicked by an outer bidder leaving the three sixteenths pole and gave way. ALTOBELLI vied outside of a rival while remaining a path away from that one around the turn, got surpassed by an outer bidder leaving the three sixteenths pole and faded. HOTLINE BLINK raced off of the pace two wide and failed to menace. CAVANAL saved ground off of the pace and gave way. HANK HILL trailed in the three path turning for home and failed to factor.
