EAST AVENUE set the pace along the inside, built a clear margin via his own power around the far turn, then widened handily. FEROCIOUS got fractious, reared and dislodged his rider in the starting gate, was backed out and reloaded following a veterinarian exam, raced forwardly early on, took firm contact from an outer rival knocking his hind legs out from underneath him approaching the first turn, steadied slightly as the leader crossed over entering that bend, settled into stalking stride soon after, chased the clear leader around the far turn, claimed place nearing the lane and ran on to be second best. FILOSO raced at the rear along the inside, crept closer in the two path around the far turn, advanced between horses in midstretch, shifted out inside the final furlong and sustained his charge to reach show in the shadow of the wire. DAPPER MOON pressed outside of the leader, chased that clearing rival around the far turn, gave way through the lane and lost show late. MESERO jostled with an outer rival at the start, raced off of the pace two wide, improved position inside of foes around the far turn and failed to menace. TENACIOUS LEADER was bumped by an inner rival at the start, laid off of the pace in the three to four path, got hung in the six path turning for home and failed to factor. BIG BOAT was firmly jostled between horses and checked soon after the start, was brushed among foes and steadied entering the first turn, pursued from midpack in the three path and gave way. HANDSOME PANTS brushed with an outer rival while forwardly placed into the first turn, tracked two wide and between horses, chased in the three path around the far turn and tired. SARATOGA CRUISER broke slowly, raced at the rear two wide, trailed around the far turn and got outrun. READY FOR PEACE was reluctant to load, brushed with an inner rival into the first turn, stalked in the five to four path around that bend, but weakened turning for home and was eased through the lane. OPTICAL bumped an inner rival while subtly put to cramped quarters by an outer rival approaching the first turn, steadied back in the aftermath, raced off of the pace along the inside, but faltered with five furlongs to go, was pulled up around the far turn and walked off.
