Chart notes
PILOT COMMANDER pressed from outside, lost touch with the leader at the three-eighths pole, challenged again two wide into the stretch, cleared with a furlong remaining and was kept to task to the wire. CAPTIVATING BOY bumped inner rival leaving the gate, took control early under pressure from PILOT COMMANDER to the outside, cleared that rival with three furlongs remaining, tested by that rival again entering the lane, yielded at the eighth pole and stayed on for a clear second. RED PILL chased from inside, ridden along through the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, failed to produce a bid but kept on to retain third. RIVOLI allowed to settle at the back early then coaxed along at the half-mile marker, saved ground through the turn and produced a mild rally to round out the superfecta. SCHWARZMEIER coaxed from the gate, forwardly placed three deep, continued giving chase in the three path on the turn and lacked a bid when needed. WENDELSSOHN traveled outside rivals toward the rear, came under a ride four wide on the turn and failed to menace. ALL THAT GLORY bumped with the winner at the start, chased off the rail out of range to the turn, dropped back in the three path around the bend and had little left for the drive. VLAHOS tracked off the rail then between rivals, lost ground two wide through the turn and faded down the lane.
