Chart notes
ALWAYS GALLANT checked off heels after a quarter mile, settled, made a bid into the backstretch the second time, engaged for the lead leaving the quarter pole then battled in the drive and prevailed. MO SUGAFOOT never far back for a half mile, bid two wide then slipped inside into the stretch, responded and was along for the place. GOOD JOB JACKIE had no speed and settled, circled five wide to the stretch and closed belatedly. APRICOT BRANDY set the pace, was collared and dueled to the furlong maker then was overtaken and finished evenly. LUTE'S DIAMOND never far back, got fanned out three deep leaving the quarter pole but could no offer the needed late response. ALY'S NATION was a pace factor for five furlongs while saving ground then tired.
