Chart notes
NATIONAL ECLIPSE pursued from midpack along the inside, gained three wide around the far turn, bid entering the lane and drove clear. SOUND OF VICTORY lacked speed in the two, took back from tight quarters between rivals at the nine sixteenths pole, advanced in the two path around the far turn, moved to the four path in upper stretch and sustained progress to reach place late. MOVING TO KENTUCKY vied along the inside before stalking an outer pair into the backstretch, chased the clear leader two wide around the far turn, bid along with an outer rival entering the lane, but got outkicked in upper stretch, yielded and lost place late. MUNYHUNGRY leaned out slightly at the start, prompted three to two wide, cleared when the leader faltered with seven sixteenths to go, showed the way along the inside around the far turn, but was caught by an outer pair entering the lane and weakened. WESTEROS broke a beat slow and leaned out at the start, raced off of the pace in the three to four path around the first turn and failed to menace. CRABTREE trailed along the inside, then surpassed easing inner rivals entering the lane. CRUSADER CONRAD pursued from midpack in the three path, but tired and was eased through the lane. ANCHISES vied between rivals before leading along the inside into the backstretch, but weakened with seven sixteenths to go, wilted inside of rivals around the far turn and was eased home.
