YLIVOIMAINEN broke in on the start, had a slim advantage between foes two wide in the first turn, was relegated to shadow the new leader outside down the backstretch under a snug hold, was coaxed and pulled away quickly for the lead three furlongs out, had a comfortable advantage up top in upper stretch and was kept to the task to hold on for the victory by a diminishing margin at the finish line. NIIGON'S LAW prompted the pace three wide on the initial turn, tracked the top two runners between horses down the backside, was roused three furlongs out to move in closer around the turn, chased the winner in the home stretch but to no avail and just saved the place prize in a tight photo at the wire. SPECIAL SESSION had a tracking position in the second flight four wide between runners into the first bend, was then steadied sharply behind rivals in mid-pack at the seven furlong pole, finally settled down into stride by the half mile marker, edged closer three wide around the final bend and still fought on determinedly after all that to be closing in smartly late to almost get up at the wire for the second placing. ATTACK broke in and was taken up briefly at the start, co-trailed inside with the other poor starter down the back straight, closed the gap three wide with three eighths remaining, shifted outside to be five wide for the stretch drive, lost its path in upper stretch, shifted inside and was full of run late to be involved for the place share at the wire but had to settle on the fringes in the end. SCUDERIA veered in at the start, stalked in the second to last pairing on the rail down the backside, could see the field by the half, shifted outside two wide to begin passing rivals with five sixteenths from home, sat behind a wall of runners four wide straightening out for the drive to the wire, angled in to find a seam two wide at the furlong pole and finished with good intent on the fence late. SUGAR BUZZ travelled five wide outside foes in midfield entering the first turn, improved outside down the backstretch to be in the second flight three deep at the half, took closer order through the far turn to be in the thick of things five wide at the top of the stretch, could not continue the rally and stalled in the final furlong. MOHAYMEN DIAMOND stalked outside in the second last group, edged closer to be in mid-pack at the half, narrowed the margin on the leader three wide in the far turn between runners, angled out to the six path for the stretch drive but made little presence being one paced to the wire. WATSONVILLE RED stumbled badly going to its knees at the start, co-trailed on the outside down the backside, made a brief move advancing four wide around runners at the three furlong marker, angled out widest in the eight path having clear running turning for home but failed to fire in the stretch. AWE INSPIRED was bumped on the break, pressed the issue inside on the first turn, assumed the lead moving well in hand down the backstretch, had no answer when the winner flew on past at the three furlong pole, tried to re-rally inside through the turn but retreated on the fence by the eighth pole. SPIRITUAL MAN broke out on the start, was tracking the frontrunner on the rail pulling the rider closer down the backside, took the short way around but was losing position on the final turn and had no finish to offer on the rail down the stretch. CHASING MEMORIES was pushed out on the break, travelled between rivals in midfield, was roused taking closer order around the final bend, sat behind a wall of horses four wide with three sixteenths to go and gave way with rivals on both sides at the furlong pole. FUN FELLA had a slow start to begin, settled on the inside in mid-division early on, could not keep up with rivals making a move three eighths from home, backed through the turn and was empty at the top of the lane.
