Chart notes
ROMAN RUSH dueled for the lead then edged away on the backstretch, responded when set down and held driving. MATTAWA N THAT broke out, bumped DRAW THE FOUL then was in turn bumped by DECIMATE, tracked the pace from the rail, moved closer to the furlong marker then could not impact the winner but gamely held second. DECIMATE drifted out early to bump with MATTAWA N THAT shortly after the start, stalked the pace three wide then was outfinished in the final sixteenth. DRAW THE FOUL was squeezed off between MATTAWA N THAT and HAKANUI at the start, recovered but was chasing the pace, came two wide to the stretch then finished evenly. SPEEDY TOM flashed early speed to duel the winner to the backstretch but got outkicked leaving the quarter pole and gave way. HAKUNUI broke in, bumped with MATTAWA N THAT, had no speed and was outrun.
