Chart notes
DELTA DELTA dueled for the lead for a half mile, rallied inside leaving the quarter pole, inched clear and held driving. LORD OF LIGHT was outsprinted for a half mile, bid three wide and avoided the accident in the stretch and was an easy second. FOYT broke out, bumped LORD OF LIGHT, chased the leaders three wide then finished evenly while avoiding the spill. DIVERSIFUL had no speed, was caught out four wide at the furlong marker, avoided the accident but lacked a closing response. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR chased the pace for four furlongs, was fanned five wide to the stretch, also avoided the fallen rider but was not persevered with in the late going. WE GOT SWAG dueled for the lead from the rail, got outrun down the backstretch the second time, just barely avoided the fallen rider in a good piece of race riding by Jake Samuels and finished evenly. CHANCELLORS BOOM had no speed, saved ground but was well back of the spill and pulled up. GRAMMY WINNER stalked the pace to the quarter pole then bid two wide to the stretch but stumbled in upper stretch, fell and unseated rider. The stewards looked at the spill and assigned no blame.
