Chart notes
PERMAFROST prompted the pace three wide into the turn, made the lead nearing the quarter pole, widened into the stretch under left handed urging and won under confident handling. TAP VALLEY allowed to settle, swung outside entering the stretch, rallied determinedly four wide and finished clear for second. SKYPASS set a pressured pace two wide for nearly a half mile, kept on into the stretch and faded late. LIBERTANGO drifted out bumping LUMIERE at the start, vied for the lead four wide through the turn and weakened in the stretch. LUMIERE was bumped at the start then failed to reach contention. MEXITEXAFORNIA pressed the pace along the inside to the top of the stretch then gave way. ALTER THE STARS was a forward factor four wide early, dropped back a bit and angled inside before the turn then was through after a half.
