STAR OF CAESAREA outrun early, moved easily inside on the turn, angled out into the stretch, bid clear and lasted. CARRY GRANT awkward early, trailed far behind then offered a late surge. OPTIMISTIC NATE dueled in the two path to the stretch and weakened. BUBBY PAPERMAKER lacked speed, moved closer wide in midstretch then faded. AVES MAKIN' WAVES prompted the pace along the inside then proved empty in the stretch. JAKNAVA was well placed outside the dueling pacesetters then gave way. MARINE PATROL chased wide and lacked a response.
