Chart notes
NOBLE JON set the pace while well in hand down the backside, opened a clear advantage on the bend without urging, maintained the advantage through the lane in a dwindling lead while drifting out three wide and was caught on the wire by the closer. CITY TRIPPER reserved off the pace into the turn, raced along the rail through the turn saving ground, cut the corner turning for home, rallied up the open fence down the lane and was up in the final stride to share the victory. COURT AND SPARK stalked the pacesetter from the fence through the turn, angled out four wide to threaten the leader in upper stretch and finished evenly unable to get passed. ENJOY THE MUSIC tracked the leaders from three wide through the turn and lacked a closing kick. JACKIE A went evenly never posing a threat. AUGER pressed the pace for three eighths and faded.
