Chart notes
CEDAR VALLEY outrun early, advanced inside then closed strongly to just get up in time. SO SWELL dropped back after the start, bid inside, angled out into the stretch, led but was nailed nearing the wire. COLLIN'S GREY LADY engaged in heated duel inside then weakened in the final furlong. LAMASCO well placed behind the dueling leaders and flattened out in the stretch. BAHAMA PEARL bid briefly on the turn, moved wide in the stretch and faltered. GIA'S FUEGO lacked speed outside and was never involved. MELODIA trailed far back inside and was always outrun. MATTY BO dueled in the two path to midstretch and gave way.
