Chart notes
JAZZ WITH DENIS stalked the early pace three wide then took over approaching the three quarter pole and showed the way, came under pressure nearing the three eighths, widened from that point and raced at the rail on the far turn, dug in under steady handling and held on. ICE BAR saved ground racing well back from early contention, bid leaving the three eighths pole and improved in the four path on the far turn, dug in to take second inside the sixteenth pole and finished well. UNCLE WATER FLOW raced off the pace in the four and five paths, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and flattened stride mid-stretch. MAKE WAY raced off the rail early, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then drifted toward the eighth pole and showed little more. ANTIPOISON raced with the early pace between horses, gave chase into the backstretch but weakened off the rail on the far turn. Z U AT THE RACES raced with the early pace inside, gave chase into the backstretch but weakened at the rail on the far turn. MALINOIS settled in the four path early, left the second turn outside and faded through the backstretch.
