Chart notes
FURREAL pressured the pace and dueled to a slim lead in the four path approaching the head of the lane, dug in determinedly leaving the eighth pole and held on. CAJUN JOE gave chase through the backstretch, eased out leaving the turn and finished well to take second the final stride. ELEANORS JACK closed to the lead leaving the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, was met while drifting entering the stretch, reluctantly ceded in late yards and was nipped from second the final stride. MR. MOX was shuffled back at the break then gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths and ran evenly in the lane. DICEY GREY chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn and flattened in the lane. FLY FLY AWAY gave chase then flattened off the rail on the turn. MISSIONSNINETYNINE gave chase outside, flattened in the six path on the turn and was forced wider into the lane. GEORGE gave chase, entered the turn about the five path, drifted through the turn and weakened.
