Chart notes
MAJOR WAGER stalked the pace in the three path, bid on the turn, dueled and was in time under a steady drive. EL GAVILAN broke sharply, was quickly over toward the rail, vied between foes in the stretch and was outfinished. MR INSENSITIVE saved ground early, rallied late in the four path and just missed. CAMPTON was squeezed back early, stalked the pace in the three path, angled to the rail at the eighth pole and rallied. REVERE NOTE stalked the early pace between foes, bid in the two path at the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch. DRAGON DREW vied inside, checked at the half-mile pole when the leader came in, stalked inside and was jostled about, then was checked hard near the five-sixteenths pole, bid at the eighth pole but couldn't close late. DIRECT ACTION stalked the early pace between rivals and faded near the three-eighths pole. EASILY INFLUENCED was squeezed back early and had no bid. THE STEWARDS DISMISSED AN OBJECTION BY THE TRAINER OF DRAGON DREW AGAINST EL GAVILAN ALLEGING INTERFERENCE DOWN THE BACKSTRETCH.
