Chart notes
PEEK chased from off of the pace in the three path, ranged up four wide to bid entering the lane, vied with an inner pair before wrestling an advantage at the furlong grounds, inched clear in the final sixteenth and held from a outer challenger in the closing stages. GAMBLERS TAIL chased in the two path around the turn, crept closer before briefly pausing behind rivals leaving the five sixteenths pole, cut the corner to circumnavigate around a faltering rival entering the lane, angled out four wide for clear sailing outside of the leading trio leaving the furlong grounds, rallied to bid in the late stages but was denied. BIG PRODUCER lacked speed in the four path around the turn, swung six wide into the lane and ran on outside of rivals to gain show late. FLAT ON was hustled forward early on, dueled with an outer rival into and around the turn, disposed of that one entering the lane as a pair of outer bidders mounted challenges, got headed by them while taking subtle contact at the furlong grounds, gave way thereafter and lost show late. TRIPLE TREA stalked outside of, and closest to, the leading pair into and around the turn, bid along with an outer rival entering the lane, brushed with an inner foe while vying between horses into the final furlong, but yielded with a sixteenth to go. ZECA DIABO trailed in the two path, shifted out to the five path and between horses in upper stretch, but steadied when an inner rival shifted across his path nearing midstretch, then failed to factor. HALMSTAD dueled with an inner foe into and around the turn, faltered between rivals entering the lane, pulled up in the final furlong, bled and was taken off of the track in an equine ambulance.
