Chart notes
A MILLION MOONS broke out at the start, held a slim lead then vied inside of GIFT GIVER around the first turn and up the backstretch, took on the challenge of MAJORITY OPINION around the turn, shook free turning for home, saved ground, widened to a clear advantage and kept to task. MAJORITY OPINION raced three wide around the first turn and stalked the top pair through the backstretch, advanced within striking distance around the turn, failed to move on with the winner turning for home but stayed on and cleared second best. LONE WARRIOR got bumped by foe just after the start, raced in range through the backstretch, angled inside late on the turn, saved ground entering the lane and ran on for a share. GIFT GIVER got bumped right after the start, then vied for then lead around the first turn, continued near equal terms through the backstretch then flattened late on the far turn. REGAL TEMPLE settled in the back saving ground, hustled along four wide into upper stretch and lacked a needed rally.
