Chart notes
P B FOXY contested the pace and took the nod past the five sixteenths pole, drew clear off the rail midway on the turn and was kept alert to hold on well. GOLDEN RUN gave close chase inside through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and had to settle for second best. HEY MACARENA hesitated at the break then angled to the outside to give chase, raced in the five path on the turn and came along to take third the final stride. SALLY GIRL chased the early pace inside, rounded the turn off the rail, flattened inside the eighth pole and was nipped from third the final stride. PRETTY COAST gave chase outside, raced in the five path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. TALAVERA dueled with the pace past the half mile pole, but dropped back at the rail midway on the turn and flattened stride inside the eighth pole. HIDDEN RIVER gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and flattened in the lane. HOME TOWN FAV gave chase, rounded the turn mostly in the three path but drifted toward the head of the lane and weakened.
