UNNECESSARY TRICKS chased the early pace while five wide then raced three wide on the turn, made a bid in upper stretch but was second best. SIPPIN SCOTCH vied for the lead while three wide into the turn, was in a long drive then faltered in late stretch. CODE ELEVEN was settled in the early going, rallied two wide on the turn then moved out to be four wide and was no threat.
