Chart notes
GLACIER RIM unhurried from inside, moved out and crept closer three deep on the backstretch, gave chase two then three wide on the far turn, moved out into the stretch, closed in under right-handed urging and reeled in the runner-up. ON THE EQUINOX broke alertly then pulled when rated behind the leaders in the two path, drifted out early on the clubhouse turn then pulled again leaving the bend, challenged the leader from outside past the three-eighths pole, took over past the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch, drifted out from the left hand while confronted by GLACIER RIM and could not fend off the winner. LITA WAY trailed early in the two path, asked right handed next to the fence on the far turn, angled out for a clear run and was along for third. G'ORO tracked out of range along the rail, continued next to the fence to the far turn, shifted to the two path and went between rivals at the quarter pole, tipped three wide into the lane and got outkicked for third. BESSIE COLEMAN sped to the front in the two path, controlled the pace to the far turn while along the rail, took pressure past the three-eighths pole, headed at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead shortly after, yielded in upper stretch and flattened to fifth. TOM'S STAR tracked the speed in the two path, pushed on through the far turn while moving into the three path, then weakened down the lane. SHOOT FOR THE SKY raced up close on the inside, rated behind the leader in the middle stages, saved ground to the stretch and weakened under asking.
