Chart notes
REINVEST allowed to settle, closed rapidly along the rail through the far turn to make the lead before the quarter pole then widened the balance of the trip to win as much the best while being ridden out. BIG POPPER trailed into the far turn, swung wide and closed determinedly in the middle of the racetrack through the stretch to finished well clear for second. JIMMY JUNGA set the pace along the inside through the first turn, gave up the lead, shifted out two wide, chased the pace into the stretch and finished best of the rest. STEP AHEAD pressed the pace two wide around the first turn, made the lead, set the pace past the five sixteenths marker, kept on into the stretch then came up empty in the late stages. ROYALLY FLUSHED stalked the pace into the far turn then weakened. FOOD FOODIE well placed, failed to respond. RULE IT was no factor.
