Chart notes
OVER PAID pressed the pace, racing behind GARNET JUBILEE in the early going, took command, drove clear and was kept to the task. GRACIOUS KAT lacked early speed, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. MOR JAZZ raced near the middle of the field, made a bid down the home stretch and proved no match for the top two. TRIPLE RED ACES raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout and weakened. TOMMY SIX FINGERS lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no real factor. CLASSY SHIPMAN raced in the middle of the pack, saved ground around the turn, was bothered down the stretch and went to the wire evenly. WESTERN AFLEET raced near the back of the pack and showed little. GARNET JUBILEE broke out, went to the front, drove clear and dropped back. FLASH FREDDIE void of early speed, jumped down horse at the head of the stretch and was never a threat. ALL COUNTRY raced within striking distance, clipped heels at the head of the stretch, fell, lost rider and was vanned off. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED CONCERNING #6 ALL COUNTRY.
