Chart notes
SAPADILLA coaxed from the gate, stalked from inside, roused on the turn, cut the corner into the lane, challenged from inside in upper stretch, took over past the eighth pole, then put PERFECT IN GRAY away in the final sixteenth. PERFECT IN GRAY away quickly, fought for the lead outside a rival, cleared past the five-sixteenths pole, confronted by SAPADILLA in upper stretch, relinquished the lead past the eighth pole and yielded in deep stretch. LIKE NO OTHER chased off the rail then two wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend, entered the lane in the two path and held over TALENT FOR GOLD for the show honors. TALENT FOR GOLD broke a step slow, traveled outside rivals out of range, lost ground into the turn, angled to the inside, steered back out in the lane and lacked a rally. RESPECT THE CROWN trailed well off the rail early, went four wide into the turn, angled down to the two path, tipped back out into the lane and failed to menace. YO YO MAMA dueled for the lead from inside, lost touch with outer rival past the five-sixteenths pole, chased three wide into the lane and faded out of contention. ANNIE FOX chased outside rivals in the early going, lost ground in the four path on the turn and tired down the lane.
