Chart notes
BAROSSA stalked the pace while racing three-wide, moved up to join TEXAS BAD BOY nearing the quarter pole then dueled with him from that point and prevailed in a stiff drive. TEXAS BAD BOY vied with MY DAD IS THIRSTY for the lead from along the outside, shook that one off after five and one-half furlongs, then responded when challenged by BAROSSA nearing the quarter pole and held on gamely to lose a tough decision. LUCK IN MY EYES saved ground while being reserved early, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. ESTEEMED was allowed to settle, came two-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. MY DAD IS THIRSTY vied with TEXAS BAD BOY for the lead from along the inside for five and one-half furlongs then drifted out leaving the quarter pole to be five-wide entering the stretch and tired. FARMER FRED R F was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
