ANDTHEWINNERIS coaxed from the gate, saved ground at the tail of the field, tipped to the two path with five-sixteenths to go placed to urging and angled out four wide into upper stretch, rallied coming under a left handed crop a furlong out and shied out four to five paths before being corrected, seized command shying out once more from a left handed crop forty yards from the finish when up late to prevail. REDISTRICTING (GB) tracked the pace along the inside settled in the pocket, was on hold in behind the leader unable to tip out as RECKONING FORCE was to his outside near the quarter pole, then was caught in a blind switch when FORT WASHINGTON was to his outside straightened away unable to tip out and on pause behind SIEGE OF BOSTON, gained clearance when that rival cleared and tipped out four to five paths roused for the final eighth, offered up a late surge with good energy and missed at the finish splitting the former top pair. RECKONING FORCE tracked the leader just off the inside coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, dug in under threat and was caught in the final forty yards to the finish. FORT WASHINGTON coaxed from the gate, came under urging to be forwardly placed into the first turn settling in the two path attending the leader to the outside, remained patiently handled until placed to encouragement nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive prominent to the furlong grounds, then weakened in the late stages. SIEGE OF BOSTON established the front shortly after the start and showed the way in hand along the inside, remained patiently handled until rivals began to get busy in behind and came under a ride nearing the top of the stretch, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat to the eighth pole clinging to the lead at that station before being displaced soon after and weakened in the late going.
