Chart notes
LADY LAOBAN chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, then edged away to the finish to prevail. STARLIGHT DANCER coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in and was overhauled a furlong out, ran on to preserve the place honors. HOLDER CLOSE just off the inside through the first turn, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered up late foot to secure the show honors. LUCKY AND GORGEOUS chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled out five to six wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. THE SPLENDID ONE chased two to three wide under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and passed tired foes. CHERBOURG chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. SAINTE CHAPELLE hesitated at the start getting away last and conceding three to four lengths to the front, raced two to three wide through the first turn before chasing four wide down the backstretch, tucked three wide into the far turn and came under coaxing at the three-eighths bidding into contention at that station, swung three wide into upper stretch fading and tired in the drive. LA FIERE three then two wide through the first turn, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung three wide for home and tired. COACH SESSA just off the inside through the first turn, chased three then four wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and tired. HAYES BAY along the inside through the first turn, chased two to three wide, got placed to a protective hold and was guided outside and pulled up in the vicinity of the nine-sixteenths and was subsequently transported off the course via equine ambulance.
