Chart notes
LA GIOCONDA set the pace in the two path, was coaxed from the three path turning into the lane, kicked away and was much the best. LINDSAY SMILES tracked inside and was ridden into the turn, angled out passing the three-eighths pole, floated out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and kept on to clearly be second best. FONTANA DI TREVI brushed the gate leaving, trailed in the six path early, was driven around the turn, fanned out to the nine path at the top of the lane, and was one paced to get up for show. TIME LEAP prompted the pace in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, but faded from the four path in the stretch. TRUMPETTA raced off the pace in the two path and never threatened. BOOMBOX BETTY chased in the four path but never menaced. SHESHIMAINTENANCE stalked in the five path but weakened.
